Law School Panel - January 24, 2024

The Legal Studies Program hosted its annual Law School panel, featuring alumni Alyssa Tamboura (J.D. candidate at Yale Law School), Cirrus Jahangiri (Graduate of UC Davis Law School), and Jessica Xu (Graduate of UCLA Law School) to speak on their experiences in applying to, and attending law school after graduating from UCSC. Grad School Panel - April 19, 2023

On April 19th, 2023 the Legal Studies Program hosted its annual panel, titled "Legal Studies Pathways: Graduate School Panel". We welcomed alumni Jessica Matlock (M.A. in Public Policy and Administration student at Sacramento State) and Claudia Galliani (M.A. in Public Policy student at University of Southern California) to speak on their experiences in Graduate School after graduating from UCSC. Global Learning for Politics/Legal Studies Students Information Session - February 1, 2023

The Politics Department & Legal Studies Program collaborated with UCSC Global Learning to share information on featured programs and relevant UCEAP study-abroad opportunities for its students. UCSC Global Learning can advise on general study-abroad inquiries, and is located in the Division of Global Engagement. UCEAP is the University of California's official study abroad program. Graduate School Panel - April 7, 2021

The Legal Studies Program welcomed UCSC alumni who are now completing different Graudate School Programs to share their experiences applying to Graduate School. This year we welcomed Rizal Verder Aliga from UC Merced, Courtney Widerman from UC Irvine and Hector Arroyo De La Paz from Harvard.

Law School Panel - February 10, 2021

This year's Law School Panel welcomed two UCSC alumni: Jessica Xu, J.D. Candidate at UCLA School of Law and Rosemary Applen, J.D. Candidate at the Univeristy of Washington School of Law. Both Jessica and Rosemary had unique experiences and different approaches when it came to navigating and completing their J.D. Degrees.
