What should I do if I am unable to enroll in Lgst 10 my first quarter?
- If you are unable to enroll in Lgst 10, a good backup course to take is Philosohpy 9, 22 or 24

If I am unable to take Lgst 10 in my first year, does this mean I am behind?
- Not at all! As an incoming student, you will also need to take General Education (GE) requirements as well as other courses that will help you reach the number of units needed to graduate.

Do I need to take all my lower-division courses before taking upper-division courses?
- Not at all! One thing about the program that many students do not know about is that you are allowed to take upper-division courses as long as (1) you meet the prerequisites of the course and (2) are in your second pass enrollment period.

Is there an order in which I should be taking courses?
- There is no order in which courses need to be taken. Think of your academic planner as a tetris that will have pieces (courses) moved around as you enroll in the different courses being offered each quarter.

How do I declare in the Legal Studies Major?
- All you need is to pass Lgst 10 with a "C" or better and you are then eligible to declare. Click here for more information.

Where can I find a full list of the courses being offered this academic year?
- You can find this list by going to the top navigation tabs and select "Courses". On this page, beneath the word "Class Schedule" you will see a link to view courses being offered this academic year.

How do I know which core requirements each course fulfills?
- On the left-hand navigation, select "Major and Minor Requirements" then "Core Courses". There you will see a full list of the core requirements each course fulfills.

I'm interested in applying to Law School after graduating. What are some things I should do during my undergradaute career that will help me best prepare for Law School?
- One thing we recommend is for students to look into getting internship expereince in a field of their interest. We have an "Internships and Independent Studies" page listed on the left navigation for students to explore different options.
- We also encourage students meet with our Career Center's Pre-Law Coach. Click here for more information.
- Another thing to keep in mind is maintaining a high GPA as well as building rapport with faculty members. Part of the Law School application process requires letters of recommendation and taking several courses under specific faculty members can help build that rapport.
